St. Martin Monastery is a community of 21 Benedictine women in Rapid City, South Dakota. Located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, the Sisters give witness to God’s presence through communal life, prayer, and work. Following the Rule of St. Benedict, they offer hospitality through various forms of ministry to the people of this area. The Sisters extend their ministries beyond the monastery in parishes, schools, health care facilities, the Diocese of Rapid City, and ecumenical organizations such as Church Response.
