Annunciation Monastery is a community of 44 Benedictine women in Bismarck, North Dakota. Located on a hill in the peaceful prairies of Bismarck, the Sisters are women who claim their humanity, who are redeemed by Christ and are empowered by the Spirit, and who strive with others to respond to the challenges of the times to further the mission of Jesus through prayer, lectio, and service. The Sisters extend their ministries beyond the monastery in hospitals, food pantries, prisons, and the University of Mary.
